History

Our history goes back to 1993 when Dr. Lee and his wife found our non-profit organization in Baton Rouge, Louisiana while he was a professor at Louisiana State University. After he joined at the University of Texas-Dallas in 2001 as a professor, he registered our non-profit organization in the state of Texas and opened the first IntelliChoice branch at Martin Luther King Jr. Public Library in southern Dallas in 2005.

Since then, we have reached many milestones. For example, in 2016, we opened three branches in Texas and two branch in Arizona. In Ethiopian Branch, about 80 students come every Saturday to receive math tutoring. Currently, we have 12 branches serving about 500 students with the help of 200 volunteers.

We opened our first student organization at the University of Texas-Dallas (UTD) in the fall semester of 2016. About 50 college students joined UTD chapter to provide math tutoring and develop leadership and teaching skill. In addition, several high school student organizations are ready to launch by the end of 2016.
